Many female characters are often depicted in an unrealistic way, whether it be physically or through their fashion choices. These pages detail different movements and examples focused on these shortcomings in female designs.
The Hawkeye Initiative is a satirical Tumblr page that comments on the depiction and treatment of female characters and superheroes in comic books. The site features fan art of Marvel character Hawkeye in various poses held by female characters that the artists believe to be impossible or sexually provocative. The site states that these poses are seen as normal and go unnoticed by many readers when performed by female superheroes.
Highschool of the Dead is set in present day Japan, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies.
The story follows a group of high school students, the school's nurse, and a young girl as they fight their way to safety through the deadly streets of Japan during the worldwide catastrophic event known as the "Outbreak". The series is known for its ridiculous fight scenes, filled with logic defying breasts and countless panty shots, as seen in the clip to the left.
